The heart of We Three Design is its namesake: a threefold collaboration between designers Sam Salinas and Kirsten Grove and every client they work with. Together, they form a creative studio that blends architecture, interiors, and artistic storytelling to deliver tailored, deeply human spaces. Rooted in Boise and working nationally, the team brings both global design fluency and a strong commitment to local context.


Kirsten Grove – Co-Founder and Principal Designer


Kirsten Grove is an established name in the design world, known both for her interior work and as the creator of the influential design blog Simply Grove. Since launching her platform in 2008, she has been a consistent voice for accessible, intentional design and has built a loyal global following. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Domino, Gray Magazine, Apartment Therapy, HGTV, Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart Online, and DesignSponge*, among many others. Kirsten’s creative eye is shaped by her extensive travel and international styling projects, but Boise remains her anchor—home to her husband, two teenagers, and two spirited doodles.


Sam Salinas – Co-Founder and Principal Designer


With a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture from the University of Idaho—and additional studies at the University of Minnesota and abroad in London—Sam Salinas brings a richly layered design background to We Three. Her style is rooted in neutrals and natural textures, often influenced by global and European aesthetics. Sam is known for her ability to balance warmth with restraint and tradition with modernity. Whether collaborating on contemporary spaces or breathing new life into classic homes, she brings both precision and play. When she’s not designing, she’s raising two energetic sons with her husband and hiking Boise’s foothills with their dachshunds, Melvin and Basil.


Bernadette Lindstrom – Interior Designer


Bernadette Lindstrom adds technical fluency and bold creative energy to the We Three team. A graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, Bernadette also studied in Florence, Italy—an experience that profoundly shaped her approach to materiality, spatial rhythm, and narrative-driven interiors. Her passion for reinvention and hands-on problem solving makes her a valuable asset on both residential and commercial projects. Bernadette thrives on momentum—whether she's transforming client spaces or tackling spontaneous home projects of her own. Outside the studio, she’s often hunting antiques, wine tasting with friends, or enjoying the Boise outdoors with her husband and pup.




Together, this trio balances vision with practicality, style with substance, and global inspiration with local relevance—making We Three Design one of Boise’s most thoughtful and respected interior design studios.
